Khunti: The district police has arrested two men who were wanted in connection with a murder which has taken place on January 6 in this district. Briefing the press on Saturday Khunti SP Alok said that on January 9 the body of the deceased identified as Parmanand
Ram was recovered near the Birhu Dam.
Later a team was constructed to crack the case which managed to arrest the real culprits identified as Joseph Horo and Baji Horo from Hutar Toyatoli. The SP said that on January 6 the deceased had consumed liquor along with the arrested after which they were involved in a heated altercation. Later Joseph and Baji along with three four other youth strangulated the man to death and stabbed his face through stone and fled from the spot.
