As Covid-19 cases rise: Government comes with fresh guidelines, wearing mask compulsory in public

Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has issued a new guideline regarding the prevention of corona. Under this guideline issued by Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, instructions have been issued to the district administration to ensure its compliance. This order will continue till further orders. At the same time, legal action can be taken against those who violate this guideline. As per the guidelines wearing of face cover/mask is mandatory during closed places, workplaces and public transport. Schools and coaching institutes will follow SOPs/guidelines for health and safety protocols

All colleges and universities will follow the guidelines issued by UGC. -SOP will have to be followed in hotels, restaurant including guest house / dharamshala / lodge etc. Will comply with SOPs in shopping malls, movie halls and multiplexes -Will comply with the SOP issued in all religious places / places of worship

- Will comply with the SOP issued in the gymnasiums and yoga institutes- Individuals shall maintain adequate social distancing at workplace and in public places Hand wash or sanitizer will be arranged at workplaces -Spitting is prohibited in public places
- Proper ventilation should be ensured in closed spaces
- All ITIs, Skill Development Centers and Polytechnic Institutes will follow SOPs
-The training institutions of the Central and State Governments shall comply with the SOPs issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India
- Examinations to be conducted by various Central Government Authorities/ Government of Jharkhand/ Universities/ Colleges/ Schools and National Examinations conducted by Private Authorities/ Institutions will be in compliance with the Health SOPs issued.

In Jharkhand, Corona has been almost controlled. At present, there are 108 active cases. At the same time, 12 districts of the state are corona free. There is not a single active case in these districts. At the same time, in the districts where there is an active case, the guidelines of the government are being followed for its prevention.
