CM orders ACB inquiry against Engineer Chief

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has approved an ACB probe against Ras Bihari Singh Chief Engineer-in-Charge Road Construction Department currently suspended in light of the complaint received by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. In the light of finding the expenditure 199 percent more than the income against the accused by the verifier of No.-06/17, PE.

He approved the proposal of notifying the no-objection to the Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department (Monitoring), Jharkhand Ranchi on the point of registration. Hemant Soren has approved an extension in the period of the E-District Manager working on a contract basis for two years (October 2021 to September 2023).

The e-district managers have been working for the last eight years in all the districts of the state. E-district managers play an important role at the district level. They do work related to digital works.

The E-District Managers work with an overall objective to assist the Deputy Commissioner/ District Magistrate of the District with a dedicated spirit to ensure local level e-District services. Due to the extension given by the Chief Minister the work-related digital and online services at the district level will be accelerated.
