Clouds will prevail but no relief from heat for the time being

Ranchi: There is no hope for the people of the capital at present to get relief from the heat. According to the weather forecast, the capital may remain partly cloudy for the next four days. Despite this, the mercury will remain at a maximum of 39 degrees celsius. However, from June 8 to 10, there will be thunderstorms. 

Scientists at Ranchi Meteorological Center said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places in the northeastern part of the state, while there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature during the next 5 days. From June 12, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the northeastern part of the state.

On the other hand, on June 8 and 9, there will be strong wind with thunder at some places in the north-eastern part. The wind speed is likely to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of a heatwave at some places in the northwestern parts of the state. Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga districts are included in this. Heavy rains are likely in Saraikela, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Simdega, which include southern Jharkhand areas. 

In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 34.4 mm was received in Panchet of Dhanbad. The temperature was 45.7 degrees in Daltonganj, while the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees in Ranchi.
