JMM stages demonstrations outside BJP headquarters

Ranchi: Politics has heated up in the state following the raid on senior IAS Officer Puja Singhal and her close associates which was followed by the recovery of a huge amount of cash from the house of her CA.

On Sunday the workers of the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha staged demonstrations outside the BJP headquarters located in Harmu road of the capital accusing the BJP of trying to bring a bad name to a tribal Chief Minister.

In wake of the demonstrations, elaborate security arrangements had been made outside the BJP office. JMM’s Ranchi district Chief Mushtaq Aalam who led the demonstrations said that if the BJP fails to change its attitude then a severe agitation will be launched. JMM leader Mahua Manjhi said that BJP is not able to tolerate the development which has been taking place in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

She alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched by the BJP to bring a bad name to the Chief Minister and create instability in the government and the JMM strongly opposes the acts of the BJP.
