Ranchi: The election for the Ranchi Press Club concluded on Sunday in the club premises located at Karmatoli Chowk of the capital where a total of 794 votes were cast by eligible voters.
A total of 877 voters were eligible to vote in these polls. With the end of the polls, the fate of 50 candidates who were in the election fray has been locked in the ballot boxes.
The counting of the votes will commence from 8.30 AM on Monday and results are expected till late afternoon. The period of the new committee will be of two years.
In this election, office bearers will be elected for five posts apart from that 10 members of the managing committee will be also elected.
