Divyangjan were unable to come to the camp, administration reaches their homes

Ranchi: In all the districts of the state, the benefits of public welfare schemes are being extended to the public under Apke Adhikar Apki Sarkar-Apke Dwar programme. Camps are being organized in different panchayats of all the districts. In these camps, immediate relief is being provided to the people by connecting them with the welfare schemes of the government.

In this connection, two differently-abled people of Hazaribagh were given benefits under the government’s scheme by going to their homes. The caste certificate of the Pahadia youth of Jamtara was made without delay during the camp. Similarly, during the camp, loans were provided to the women selling liquor and liquor of Ramgarh for self-employment. 

Deepak Kumar Rajak (39 years) and Vinod Thakur (44 years) residents of Masaratu of Katkamdag block of Hazaribagh are handicapped and unable to move. They could not reach the camp as there was no means available. When this information was received by the Deputy Commissioner in the camp organized in Masaratu Panchayat, on his instructions, the administration team along with the Katkamdag Block Development Officer reached the house of both the persons. Both did not even have a disability certificate, due to which they were not able to get the benefits of government schemes. 

Tricycles were provided to both the differently-abled by the administration. Along with this they were also given a disability certificate and was also provided with a blanket to protect him from frost. Beneficiaries Deepak Kumar Rajak and Vinod Thakur said that they had  never imagined that their problems would be resolved so quickly and easily. Both have appreciated the initiative and also thanked the Chief Minister Hemant Soren for conducting such a public welfare campaign. Shobhi Paharia, a resident of Jeruva village located in Karmatand block of Jamtara district, is a graduate student. 

For the last five years, he was making rounds of the block office to get the caste certificate made. He reached the programme organized in Dumaria Panchayat Bhawan with his complaints. Hearing his problem, the Block Development Officer informed the Circle Officer about it. After this, taking immediate paperwork, caste certificate was issued to Shobhi Pahadia in just 45 minutes. Shobhi said that the work for which he was worried for a long time, that work was done immediately in the programme. Three women Hemanti Devi, Bhado Devi and Muniya Devi were associated with Phulo-Jhano Aashirwad campaign in a camp organized in Mandu block of Ramgarh district.
