Ranchi: Dumka DC Rajeshwari B on Tuesday said that a modern Covid testing lab will start working at the Phulo-Jhano Medical College Hospital here within 10 days.
She visited the hospital and directed the contractor executing the work to complete the pending work within 10 days and also asked to make sure that there is no compromise over the quality of the work.
She said that once the lab starts functioning the process of testing will rapidly increase in the district which will help the administration to prevent the spread of the disease. She also asked to put up all the necessary equipments as soon as possible.
Civil Surgeon Dumka Anant Kumar Jha and Principal of the College Dr Arun Kumar were also present on the occasion.
