CM invites industrialists to Jharkhand, asks to work jointly to take state on path of development

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has invited the industrialists to invest in Jharkhand and work jointly to take the state forward on the path of development.

Addressing the stakeholders conference in New Delhi he said that all necessary E and basic facilities are available in Jharkhand which are essential for establishment of industries he said that there was no lack of anything in the state but what was only needed is value addition. He said that if value addition will be done in the resources present in Jharkhand than the state will rank among the leading states of the country and in this the Industries have a leading role to play.

He said that Jharkhand has a special identity in the country for its mineral wealth and also the Industries which are present here have also made their separate name at the world level. He said that many Industries started from Jharkhand itself including HEC, Tata Steel, Bokaro Steel Plant and even the first fertilizer plant was set up in Jharkhand. He asked the investor to invest in Jharkhand and assured that the government will stand with them and help in setting up of the industries.

He said that going forward such system would be placed in the state which will give new direction to development in Jharkhand and all sections of the society will be benefited. He said that apart from mines and minerals sector the state government is also working in other sectors whether it was agriculture motor vehicles electronic manufacturing or food processing. He said that these sectors have tremendous opportunities and what was needed is to encourage them.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand was also blessed in natural resources and the tourism sector in the state was also rapidly growing. He said that in tourism all possible opportunities are being explored and employment generating options are being looked at. The Chief Minister said that he believes in working on a new things and pointed that there was no lack of skill among the youth of the state. He said that in the field of the sports youths from Jharkhand were making a name for themselves in the country and also a broad therefore investment in hockey and football can also be done in Jharkhand.

Adding further he said that even waterways connectivity was easily available with the state as the distance of Haldia port from Ranchi was just 250 km while that from Paradip was 400 kilometre. He said that construction of port was on on Ganga River in Sahebganj and soon it would be functioning as the distance from Sahebganj and Ranchi is just 350 km. Yhe Chief Minister said that place has been also identified for air cargo by the state government and opportunities in this sector are being also identified.

Hemant Soren said that there was no lack of any resource in the state what was only needed is will power and cited his own example that the 'Bandi' which he was wearing had not been prepared by any designer but by the women of Jharkhand. He assured the delegates from the various industrial houses to give their suggestions and ideas to the state government. He said that in case of any problem they should come forward and share the matter and assured full cooperation from the side of the government. He said that there was a need to work together for setting up of industries and development in Jharkhand as the state has abundance of power water land natural resources and manpower.
