Weather watch: Average Temperature goes up by 3.5 degrees, clouds expected from Mar 8

Ranchi: In the last 24 hours the maximum temperature in Ranchi has crossed the 33.8 degrees mark which was 3.5 degrees above the normal.

According to the weather department West Singhbhum is likely to witness maximum rise in temperature which is likely to reach the 38 degrees mark while on the other hand in districts of Garhwa, Palamu, Dhanbad, Simdega, Saraikela and East Singhbhum the temperature will remain around 36 degrees.

According to the MET from March 8 onwards late in the afternoon cloud cover will take place in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Bokaro,  Khunti, Garhwa, Chatra and Latehar districts  and on March 10-11 in different areas thundering and rainfall has been predicted. During this period the maximum temperature in Ranchi will be around 37 degrees.

In the last 24 hours Jamshedpur was the hottest at 37.2 degrees while Bokaro was the coolest at 13.6 degrees.
