Budget Session of Jharkhand Assembly from Friday, Govt to present budget on Mar 3

Ranchi: The budget session of the Jharkhand assembly will commence from Friday with Governor Draupadi Murmu addressing the members of the house on the inaugural day.

As per the official schedule for the budget session which will be held from February 26 to March 23 the house will remain functional for a total of 16 days. After the inaugural day on February 26 the house will not be functioning on February 27 and 28.

The house will reconvene on March 1 during which the state government will table the second supplementary budget for fiscal 2020-21 while the annual budget of the state government for the year 2021-22 will be presented on March 3.

In the month of March the house will not be functioning on March 6 and 7, March 11-14 and March 20-21 on account of various public and religious holidays.
