State BJP president attacks government over Kamdara massacre

Ranchi: State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash on Thursday attacked the state government over the killing of five members of a tribal family which took place in Kamdara of Gumla district on Wednesday.

He said that the tenure of the state government had started itself with massacre of innocent tribals in Burguilkera of Chaibasa district and after that descendant of Sidho-Kanhu was killed in Santhal Pargana.

He said that in large number incidents of rape and murders have been committed on women and majority among the victims are from tribal community. Deepak Prakash said that morale of the criminals has increased in the state as the government was shielding them.

The state BJP has condemned the killing in Kamdara. The party has decided to sent a delegation on February 26 to the village which will be led by the state unit chief and probe the incident.
