Speaker directs officials to provide answers on time

Ranchi:  Speaker Ravindranath Mahto on Wednesday chaired a high level meeting with the senior officials of the state in wake of Budget Session of Jharkhand Assembly which is slated to commence from Friday.

During the meeting he directed the officials to provide the answers of different questions on time. He also directed to ensure that all protocols in wake of Covid-19 is followed.

During the meeting Health Secretary KK Soan informed that camps for conducting the Corona test has been organised in the Vidhan Sabha premises and if the MLAs will want the Covid test to be held in their respective constituencies then arrangements for that will be also made

The Speaker also instructed to improve the security at old Vidhan Sabha premises and put up speed breakers and police picket on the main road connecting to the Vidhan Sabha. He directed to stop the unnecessary gathering of unwanted people on the roads.

Further directions were issued to ensure uninterrupted power supply etc. Later he also chaired a meeting with the press advisory committee during which Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka was also present.
