Ranchi: The Ranchi rail division has been allocated a sum of Rs 452.20 crore in the general budget 2021-22 for a total off eight projects.
Out of the Rs 452.20 crore a bulk allocation of Rs 320 crore has been allotted for doubling of Bondamunda-Ranchi railway line (158.50 kilometres). A sum of Rs 72 crore has been given for track renewal and maintenance for the Ranchi Rail Division.
Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned for putting up centralised panel at 5 railway stations while Rs 20 crore has been given Lodhma-Piska Link Line (17 kilometres). Rs 6 crore for construction of 151 type 2 and 8 type 3 quarters etc.
