Capital wakes up to a foggy morning, temperature to decrease further from Dec 30

Ranchi: On Thursday people in the capital woke up to a foggy morning and fog was seen on the main roads of the city however as the day progressed the fog cleared and sun shone bright and high.

Scientist at the local weather department Abhishek Anand said that due to Western Disturbance changes are being witnessed in the weather conditions due to which the local system has been impacted due to which respite has been received from cold. He said that on Christmas also cold will be less after going forward the Western Disturbance will make its impact. He said that the maximum temperature will increase while the minimum temperature will go down.

The weatherman said that after December 30 the minimum temperature will further come down. However in other districts also including Chaibasa and Bokaro the temperature is continuing to decline.
