Latehar: A person lost his life while six others sustained injuries following a collision between two four-wheelers at Karmahi Mode under Manika police station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Upendra Dubey (55) a resident of Kandi of Garhwa district. Police said that the man was travelling from Daltonganj to Ranchi while the other four wheeler which was carrying members of a marriage party was coming from the opposite end.
Police said that at a sharp turn drivers of both the vehicles lost control and a head-on collision took place due to which Dubey died on the spot while six other sustained injuries who were later rushed to the hospital.
