
Ranchi: A webinar was jointly organised by PIB Ranchi and Field Outreach Bureau Dhanbad in which experts from health education and public relations participated.
In the webinar the experts said that to ensure the sucess of peoples movement in battle against Coronavirus it was important that all of them should regularly wash their hands and face, maintain social distancing and also wear masks and follow the mantra of no relaxation unless a medicine is found.
ADG PIB Arimardan Singh said that presently the people were in the stage of unlocking where it becomes more imperative to follow all the security measures. He said that wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing and regularly cleaning the hands and face are best possible tools in battle against Coronavirus.
Mr Singh also laid stress to take care of the old family members as they were the most vulnerable to the disease and chance of spread of the infection is also more. He said that use of best practices against Coronavirus needed to be converted into a peoples movement.
Professor of Clinical Psychology in RINPAS Amul Ranjan Singh said that during Corona crisis many people went through mental and psychological issues as they were afraid and feared that the infection will catch them. However now the fear has reduced but there was need to adopt all the security measures.
Professor of Medicine in RIMS Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh said that people should regularly wash their hands and also consume lots of water while when going outside use of mask in must and face and nose should be properly covered. He said that RIMS has the lowest rate of mortality among the Corona patients across the country.
