NCL Director(Technical) visits HEC headquaters

Gunadhar Pandey, Director (Technical) of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), visited the headquarters of Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) in Ranchi on August 28 and interacted with the company's senior management.

During the interaction, Pandey highlighted NCL's association with HEC for the supply of critical equipment and components. He also said HEC could further expand its value addition and support to NCL.

HEC Director (Marketing) Rana S. Chakravarty assured Pandey of the company's commitment to providing quality services and meeting NCL's requirements.

NCL is an end user of HEC's walking draglines, among the heaviest earth-moving machines used in mining operations. Besides procuring complete equipment, NCL also sources replacement spares for these critical machines from HEC.

HEC also undertakes the rehabilitation of old and surveyed-off equipment. At present, the company is executing an order for the supply of 15 buckets for draglines in collaboration with Australia's SIMCO.

Senior officials, including the Chiefs of Plants of FFP, HMBP and HMTP and the Chief of Technical, were present during the meeting. They briefed Pandey on the status of ongoing work orders received from NCL and also sought his feedback on the company's work and services.
