Lohardaga: A man was hacked to death under Bagadu Police Station area of this district and later his body was thrown in a well in Hesapidi village.
The locals who spotted the body informed the police. The deceased was later identified as Devchand Oraon (40).
Family members of the deceased said that the man had left his home Friday evening but failed to return. On Saturday morning information was received regarding his body being found from the well.
Upon receiving information SDPO Jitendra Singh reached on the spot and inquired into the incident. Police have taken a couple of youths into custody for questioning.
