Babulal writes to CM to provide relief to lawyers of state

Ranchi: Leader of the legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi has written a letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren asking him to provide relief to the lawyer's community of the state who are facing economic crisis amid Coronavirus.

He said that due to Coronavirus all sections have been adversely impacted and the condition of lawyers was no different. Mr Marandi said that there are nearly 35,000 lawyers in the state and clerks involved in this profession was about 25,000.

He said that due to lockdown for the last one a half months the works in the courts have been completely stopped due to which the members of the community were facing an economic crisis. He said that being the intellectuals these people are also not in a position to tell their sufferings, therefore, it was the responsibility of the state government to take care of them.

He hoped that the state government will take immediate positive steps so that they can get some kind of economic relief moreover a message would also go across that in times of crisis the government tried to take care of them.
