Ram Navami: Sonam Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Jackie Shroff among celebs share festive wishes

Mumbai — Bollywood celebrities including Sonam Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Jackie Shroff and Urmila Matondkar took to social media to extend heartfelt greetings to fans on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. 

Marking the birth of Lord Rama with devotion and positivity, several celebrities shared messages filled with warmth and festive spirit. Jackie Shroff posted a divine image of Lord Rama on his social media story along with the hashtags “#JaiShreeRam” and “#RamNavmi,” and conveyed warm wishes for the festival.

Urmila Matondkar shared a devotional reel featuring Lata Mangeshkar singing the bhajan “Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhajman,” accompanied by a message wishing everyone a blessed Ram Navami. 

Sonam Kapoor joined the celebrations by posting a serene visual of Lord Rama holding a bow and arrow against a golden backdrop, simply writing, “Happy Ram Navami.”

R. Madhavan also extended greetings with an image of Lord Rama along with Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. In his message, he wrote, “Warm greetings to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. Jai Siya Ram. May there be peace and harmony for one and all.”

Meanwhile, Tanishaa Mukerji shared a festive graphic of Lord Rama and expressed hope for peace, prosperity, and righteousness on the holy occasion.

Ram Navami, a significant Hindu festival, celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The day symbolises the victory of good over evil and the ideals of righteousness and dharma. Devotees across India observe fasts, visit temples, and offer prayers and bhajans to mark the occasion.
