Esha Gupta Shares Heartfelt Birthday Wish for ‘God’s Child’ Yo Yo Honey Singh

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Esha Gupta shared a warm birthday message for rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, describing him as “God’s child”.

Taking to the Stories section of Instagram on Sunday, the actress posted a selfie with the popular rapper and wished him on his birthday. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Happy birthday to the OG, a true rockstar and God’s child @yoyohoneysingh.”

Honey Singh is widely known for bringing commercial Punjabi and Hindi rap into mainstream Bollywood music. He rose to fame in the early 2010s with hit albums such as International Villager and Desi Kalakaar. His songs have featured in several Hindi films and have garnered massive digital viewership, earning him multiple awards and a huge fan following.

The rapper had taken a break from the music industry after battling mental health issues. However, he later made a comeback with new singles and collaborations, rebuilding his career and reconnecting with fans.

Esha’s description of Honey Singh as “God’s child” appears to reflect admiration for his resilience and journey of overcoming challenges to rise again in the music industry.

Earlier, the actress also shared her relief after safely returning home from Abu Dhabi, where she had been stranded due to a sudden missile scare amid rising tensions in West Asia.

In a long post on Instagram, she expressed gratitude to the UAE authorities and the Indian government for ensuring the safety of passengers. Recalling the tense moments at Abu Dhabi International Airport, she said the situation unfolded while she was at the airport on the afternoon of the 28th.

According to her, the airport was abruptly shut down around 1 p.m., causing confusion and panic among travellers. News of a missile attack soon began circulating, leaving passengers uncertain about what would happen next. She described how strangers comforted each other and reached out to their families during the tense hours.

Esha added that witnessing the resilience and management by authorities in the UAE during the situation left a lasting impression on her.
