Amandeep Sidhu Credits Her Mother as Her Biggest Inspiration

Mumbai — Actress Amandeep Sidhu, who plays Sneha in the television show Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, has spoken about the most inspiring woman in her life — her mother.

Reflecting on her childhood, the actress shared that her mother raised her and her two siblings almost single-handedly in Delhi. Amandeep revealed that her mother made numerous sacrifices to ensure that her children received both support and the freedom to follow their dreams.

She said that her mother’s resilience, encouragement and unconditional love played a key role in shaping the person she has become today.

Speaking about her mother’s journey, Amandeep said, “My mother is the strongest woman I know and she inspires me a lot. She raised the three of us by herself in Delhi because when we were young, my father used to stay mostly in Dubai. It was a huge responsibility to raise daughters in a city like Delhi, but she handled it amazingly and I will always be grateful to her.”

The actress also expressed deep appreciation for her family, which she said has always supported her ambitions and decisions.

“I feel lucky to have a family that has always encouraged my dreams and aspirations. That support is the reason I am where I am today. My mother never stopped me from pursuing anything I wanted to do, just like how Ganga Mai supports her daughters to grow and succeed in life in the show,” she added.

Amandeep said both her mother and the character of Ganga Mai have taught her valuable life lessons, and she hopes to continue learning from such strong women.

Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan airs daily at 9 PM on Zee TV.
