Shakira to Return to India After 19 Years, Calls Upcoming Concerts ‘Special’

Mumbai: Global pop icon Shakira is set to perform in India after a gap of 19 years, marking a highly anticipated return for her Indian fans.

The Colombian superstar will take the stage in Mumbai on April 10 and Delhi on April 15. This will be the first time her India concerts are hosted across two cities. Ticketing for the shows is being exclusively managed by Zomato through its District platform.

Shakira last performed in India in 2007 during her Oral Fixation Tour in Mumbai. Her upcoming visit marks nearly two decades since she last performed in the country.

Expressing her excitement, Shakira said, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I'm excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi.
