Bhavana Pandey Reveals Menu Wishlist, Shares Plans for Ananya Panday’s Grand Wedding

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Ananya Panday’s wedding plans recently took centre stage as her mother, Bhavana Pandey, shared light-hearted details about the family’s ideas for the big day.

Bhavana appeared on the cooking reality show MasterChef India during its Shaadi Special week, where the set was transformed into a lavish wedding venue. She was joined by her husband, actor Chunky Panday, as the show introduced its first-ever team service challenge, The Great Indian Wedding Buffet. In the challenge, contestants were tasked with creating an elaborate seven-dish wedding spread, reflecting the scale, pressure and emotions associated with a traditional Indian wedding.

Adding humour to the festive atmosphere, Chunky Panday entertained everyone with his trademark wit, joking, “I always wanted to get married twice, and that too with Bhavana.” Bhavana responded playfully, noting that while Chunky never forgets their wedding anniversary, he often forgets the gifts. Chunky quickly retorted, “Because if I forget the anniversary, I wouldn’t be here. I would have been in the hospital,” leaving the set in splits.

The episode also featured a fun reveal when the celebrity couple was asked about their dream menu for daughter Ananya Panday’s wedding. A doting Bhavana immediately shared her wishlist, which included mutton curry, Indian-style tiramisu, garlic pickle and purple parathas. The candid moment drew laughter and offered viewers a glimpse into the Panday family’s celebratory preferences.

The new season of MasterChef India celebrates partnerships, shared journeys and the collective spirit of growth and inspiration. The Shaadi Special episode promises a blend of emotion, humour and culinary grandeur.
