Shraddha Kapoor Calls Monday Her ‘Sunday’, Jokes ‘Kya Kar Loge?’

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has decided to rewrite the rules of the calendar by declaring Monday as her personal “Sunday,” leaving fans amused with her playful take.

Taking to Instagram, the actress—who is the most-followed Indian woman on the platform—shared two relaxed selfies of herself lounging on a couch. Sporting glasses and dressed in a beige top, Shraddha struck a perfect balance between comfort and casual chic.

Captioning the post in Hindi, she wrote, “Mera Sunday aaj hai, kya kar loge??? (My Sunday is today, what will you do?).”

Shraddha, daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, began her acting journey with a brief appearance in the 2010 heist film Teen Patti. She landed her first lead role in the teen drama Luv Ka The End in 2011.

Her popularity surged after her performance in Mohit Suri’s romantic musical Aashiqui 2 (2013). Over the years, she has featured in several notable films, including Haider, Ek Villain, ABCD 2, Baaghi, Chhichhore, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Saaho, and the Stree franchise.

Shraddha is set to reprise her role in Stree 3, the third instalment of the hit horror-comedy series, which is slated for release in August 2027.

She has also signed on for a biopic based on legendary Marathi Tamasha performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar. Titled Eetha, the film will trace the life and journey of one of Maharashtra’s most celebrated folk dancers.

Additionally, the actress will be seen in the upcoming film Nagin, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.

Recently, Shraddha shared a video of a late-night drive through Mumbai, with the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus glowing in the background. Set to A.R. Rahman’s “Rehna Tu” from Delhi-6, she captioned the post: “Nothing better than night drives in your own city (sic).”
