Mumbai- Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on January 10 marked six years of his historical epic Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior by sharing illustrated artwork highlighting some of the film’s most powerful moments.
Taking to social media, Ajay wrote in Marathi, which translated to, “The fort is won, but the lion is dead,” adding, “but the story isn’t over yet… #6YearsOfTanhaji.”
The artwork features Ajay as the valiant Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare, standing resolute amid a fierce battlefield. Another illustration shows him in traditional attire, wearing a turban and holding a sword, while a separate visual depicts Kajol in the role of Savitribai, Tanhaji’s wife.
Directed by Om Raut, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was released on January 10, 2020. The film was produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Ajay Devgn’s FFilms, and went on to achieve major box-office success.
The film also starred Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, with Kajol portraying Savitribai. Notably, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior won the National Award for Best Popular Film.

The couple first met while working on Gundaraj in 1994 and married in 1999 in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony. They welcomed their daughter in 2003 and their son, Yug, in 2010.
