Shraddha Arya Calls Balancing Motherhood and Shoots a ‘Beautiful Learning Experience’

Mumbai: Popular television actress Shraddha Arya recently took on the role of host for the New Year special edition of Zee Rishton Ka Mela, alongside actor Jay Bhanushali.

Speaking exclusively to IANS, Shraddha described the experience as “one big celebration filled with warmth and love,” and opened up about managing her professional commitments while embracing motherhood.

Calling the journey both challenging and rewarding, the Kundali Bhagya actress said, “Balancing motherhood and shootings has been a beautiful learning experience for me. There are days when it does get overwhelming, and I miss my kids deeply when I’m away on set. Even while shooting, a part of my heart is always with them. But everything feels worth it the moment I return home after a long day and they welcome me with the tightest hugs. That instantly melts away all the tiredness and reminds me why I put my heart into balancing both worlds.”

Shraddha credited the strong support system around her for making the process smoother. She shared that both her family and the team on set have been extremely understanding.

“Shooting with the Zee TV team honestly makes work feel easier. They understand my journey, respect my time, and that comfort truly reflects in my performance. Hosting Zee Rishton Ka Mela 2025 and welcoming the New Year with the Zee TV family was incredibly special. It really felt like a big celebration full of warmth, memories, and love,” she said.

The actress also revealed that she continues to be fondly associated with her iconic character Preeta from Kundali Bhagya.

“Even today, people on set call me Preeta. Sometimes it feels like Kundali Bhagya is still on air and I’m shooting for it regularly. I absolutely love being Preeta—she has given me immense love, recognition, and an emotional connection with the audience. No matter what I do next, Preeta will always be a part of me,” Shraddha added.
