‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0’ Promises Comedy and Chaos with a Supernatural Twist

Mumbai — Fans of the popular television comedy Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai are in for another treat, as the makers have announced its sequel titled Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, expanding the show’s much-loved comedy universe.

The sequel offers a fresh and entertaining take on the iconic sitcom, blending its trademark humour with surprises and a playful supernatural element. Sharing the first glimpse of the upcoming show on social media, the makers wrote: “Ghoonghatganj ki galiyon se ghoonghat uthaake, aa rahi hain asli se bhi asli Bhabhiji hansi ka tadka lagaane. Sahi Pakde Hain! Dekhiye naye avtaar mein, #BhabijiGharParHain2.0, bahut jald, sirf &TV par.”

Set in the intriguing town of Ghunghatganj, the story unfolds in a place where tradition meets mystery, and secrets lurk around every corner. Unforeseen circumstances bring the beloved characters — Tiwari, Angoori, Anita, and Vibhuti — to this eccentric town, triggering a series of comic mishaps, unexpected situations, and hilarious encounters with its quirky residents.

The show also introduces Vidya, a mysterious and enigmatic character whose presence keeps everyone on edge. Together, the ensemble promises a mix of laughter, suspense, and delightful surprises.

Produced by EDIT II Productions, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 blends light-hearted comedy with drama, suspense, and supernatural fun. The show is expected to premiere soon on &TV and will also be available on ZEE5 in Hindi.

Inspired by the 1990s Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain originally premiered on March 2, 2015, on &TV and has since enjoyed a strong following.

In addition to the sequel, the franchise is also set to expand into cinema with the upcoming film Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain – Fun On The Run, scheduled for theatrical release on February 6, 2026.
