Mumbai— Actress Radhika Apte says she has no fear of missing out and is completely at ease with her choices, both personally and professionally.
Now settled in London and frequently travelling to India for work, Radhika was asked in an exclusive conversation with IANS whether not living permanently in Mumbai affects the opportunities that come her way. She dismissed the idea.
“If I want to do something, I’ll come there. And if I miss it, I miss it. There’s something else I have here. So, I don’t believe in that,” she said, adding, “I don’t have any FOMO about missing out on anything. I don’t think anything is as big as we think it is.”
### **Her Upcoming Film: *Saali Mohabbat***
Radhika will soon be seen in the thriller *Saali Mohabbat*. She plays **Smita**, a quiet housewife who loves gardening and lives a peaceful domestic life—until an unexpected event changes everything, sending her on a tense, thrilling journey.
Describing the character, she said:
“Well, I play Smita, who’s a housewife and loves gardening. She has a very quiet life, and she’s very happy with her home, her husband, and her garden. But then something happens, and you go on a very different, thrilling ride.”
She added that the film explores the story of an introverted, plant-loving woman whose simple life is disrupted in unexpected ways.
### **Why She Chose the Role**
Radhika shared what attracted her to *Saali Mohabbat*:
“It’s very different from any other crime thriller you might have seen recently in Indian cinema. At a time when everything feels fast-paced and action-heavy, this film is the opposite. It has subtlety, silences, and atmospheric tension. It is very still and calm. And that was something very exciting about it.”
