Anees Bazmee Thanks Fans as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Turns One: “Shukriya for All the Love & Duas”

Mumbai: Filmmaker Anees Bazmee celebrated the first anniversary of his blockbuster horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 by expressing heartfelt gratitude to fans for their overwhelming love and support.

Marking the film’s one-year milestone, Bazmee shared a nostalgic clip on social media featuring some of the movie’s most iconic scenes.

“Last year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit the theatres, and the way audiences embraced it made it all worth it. The response, the warmth, and the journey since then have been truly special,” Bazmee wrote on Instagram.

Reflecting on the filmmaking experience, he added, “It was a great, fun journey. Thank you so much to all my lovely actors, producers, technicians, and everyone who was part of the set for making this journey so beautiful.”

He concluded his note with a heartfelt message: “Shukriya for all the love and duas ???.”

Written by Aakash Kaushik and produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is the third installment in the hit franchise following Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022).

Released on November 1, 2024, the film went on to become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film and the sixth-highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

Shot across Mumbai, Kolkata, Orchha, and Leh, the film features cinematography by Manu Anand, music by Sandeep Shirodkar, and editing by Sanjay Sankla.

The movie follows Ruhaan Randhawa (played by Kartik Aaryan), a con artist masquerading as an exorcist, who is tasked with capturing the spirit of Manjulika, the vengeful daughter of a 19th-century Maharaja. The mission leads to shocking revelations of betrayal and loss.

With fans showering love on the film even a year later, anticipation is already building for the fourth installment of the much-loved Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise.
