Amy Schumer on Weight Loss: 'I’m Enjoying How I Look'

Los Angeles — Hollywood actress and comedian **Amy Schumer** is embracing her transformation and celebrating how she feels amid her ongoing weight loss journey, saying she finally feels strong and like herself again.

Sharing a series of photos on Instagram, Schumer thanked her team for styling her in a chic black-and-white dress, writing:

> “I’m feeling strong and like myself.”

She continued, “I’m enjoying how I look, but man, it is all about how you feel. I’m so grateful to be pain-free thanks to my trainer Mona at Reload, who has helped strengthen me since my back surgery, and to @seckinmd for lifting all the endometriosis out of my body.”

In the pictures, Schumer poses confidently around her home — first in a black-and-white knee-length dress with a plunging neckline and pointed black heels, and then in a silky pale pink dress while lounging in a chair, reports *People.com*.

She also credited her support network, adding:

> “@midihealth helping me navigate perimenopause and my psychologist. I got all dressed up and ready to go to my friend’s 50th and then decided I wasn’t feeling up to it and wanted to stay home with my little guy. Thanks for all the love. Sending it right back.”

Her post comes just days after she shared a mirror selfie of her stomach, captioned:

> “No filter, no filler, no clean mirror.”

Earlier in October, Schumer had posted photos from a Las Vegas trip with friends Alex Saks and Jillian Bell, where she wore a short button-down shirt dress paired with black heels. Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments with praise — actress **Selma Blair** chimed in with, “Leggggggs.”

Schumer has long been candid about her experiences with body image and health. She previously revealed that she underwent **liposuction in 2022** and has spoken about her “horrible experience” using weight loss medication.

> “I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea — that’s why I was so sick during my pregnancy,” Schumer said during a January appearance on *The Howard Stern Show*. “I tried Ozempic almost three years ago, and I was bedridden — vomiting and exhausted. Other people take it and do great, so God bless them.”

Now, Schumer says her focus is on feeling healthy, strong, and grateful — not just looking a certain way.
