Sanya Malhotra Joins the Matcha Craze, Brews a New Chapter with Wellness Venture

Mumbai – Actress Sanya Malhotra, seen in a cameo in the recently released film Thug Life, is stepping into new territory beyond the silver screen. The actress has officially joined the matcha trend, adding “entrepreneur” to her growing list of roles.

Sanya has launched her own matcha brand, “Bree Matcha,” inspired by her personal philosophy of balance, mindfulness, and intentional living. Partnering with Dr. Kunal Shah and Siddharth Shah—co-founders of Essenzaa Nutrition—she aims to bring a premium lifestyle brand rooted in the calm and clarity of traditional Japanese tea rituals.

Sharing her thoughts, Sanya said in a statement, “In a world where everything feels urgent, Bree Matcha is my way of reminding myself—and others—to slow down and be intentional. It’s a ritual I truly believe in, and I’m proud to create something that promotes natural energy and focused calm.”

This new venture marks a notable shift for the actress—one where celebrities are no longer just endorsers, but creators of meaningful products. With Bree Matcha, Sanya advocates for clean energy, mental clarity, and mindful living—values that echo her grounded personality and thoughtful rise to fame.

Sanya recently gave fans a peek into her breezy new lifestyle by sharing a fun video on Instagram. In it, she’s seen dancing joyfully to Salman Khan’s romantic hit Tu Chahiye while making a coconut matcha latte. The ‘Dangal’ star’s cheerful energy and cinematic flair added a playful twist to the wellness ritual.

She captioned the post with, “Plot twist: Tu was matcha all along. Breeing with Love #TuChahiye #CoconutMatchaLatte,” delighting fans with her effortless dance moves and charming presence.
