Neha Dhupia to Star in Shashank Khaitan’s OTT Debut Series ‘Single Papa’

Mumbai – Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia is set to appear in the upcoming web series Single Papa, which marks the OTT debut of filmmaker Shashank Khaitan. Khaitan is currently wrapping up filming for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.

A source close to the production shared, “Neha Dhupia has joined the cast in a significant lead role. The show, titled Single Papa, is in its final stages of shooting. This is Shashank’s first OTT project and is described as a slice-of-life family entertainer.”

Earlier this year, the show made headlines with the announcement that Kunal Kemmu would be part of the cast. Now, with Neha Dhupia also on board, the series is gaining momentum as a highly anticipated project.

Currently, production is underway on the series.

On the professional front, Neha is also appearing as a gang leader in the latest season of MTV Roadies, titled MTV Roadies Double Cross, hosted by Rannvijay Singha. Her most recent film appearance was in Bad Newz, alongside Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk.

Meanwhile, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is scheduled to release on September 12. Directed by Shashank Khaitan—best known for hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Dhadak—the film marks the second collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor after Bawaal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the romantic comedy has fans eagerly awaiting its release, especially with Karan Johar's reputation for delivering beloved rom-coms.
