Police arrested four Cyber Criminals in Giridih

Giridih:  Giridih Police has arrested 4 cyber thugs from different police station areas. In this case, the police have also recovered one bike along with SIM card, ATM card etc. It is said that through Pratibimba portal, the Superintendent of Police had received information that some cyber criminals were cheating people in Mofussil and Ahilyapur police station areas.

On the basis of the above information, a team was formed under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Cyber, Abid Khan and with the help of Police Station Incharge Cyber Ajay Kumar, Punit Kumar Gautam, Gajendra Kumar, constables Damodar Prasad Mehta and Jitendra Nath Mahato and a total of 4 cyber thugs were arrested.

Arrested criminal Mukesh Kumar Mandal age 32 years father Chetu Mandal police station Bengabad, Vishnu Kol age 25 years father Umesh Kol Sakin Baratand police station Sarath district Devghar, Vikas Kumar Mandal age 23 years father Katilal Mandal Sakin Chamaliti police station Ahilyapur district Giridih and Birendra Mandal father Jagdish Mandal Sakin Darve police station is included in Budhai district Deoghar.

Police have recovered 18 SIM cards, 1 ATM card, and 1 bike from them. SP said that all of them used to cheat pregnant women of money in the name of providing them the benefit of maternity amount through the Nutrition Tracker app. At the same time, posing as fake bank officials, they used to cheat people of money by sending fake links from fake seams.
