Speaker Ravindranath Mahto calls to create better sporting environment in state

Dumka: Speaker of Jharkhand Assembly Ravindranath Mahto laid stress on creating a better sporting environment in the state.

Addressing the people at the concluding ceremony of the national level chess championship organised in this district he said that in the era of globalization the youth can bring laurels for their respective areas by excelling in the field of sports.

He said that numerous players from Jharkhand are making a name for themselves in the sporting arena by bagging top positions in various games.

He said that apart from academics there was also a need to encourage the youth to take up sports activities however for that to happen there was a need to create a better environment and also provide better amenities to the players.
