Daltonganj: Police has arrested a couple of ultras belonging to the Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad from Haidernagar Police Station area of the Palamu district and recovered four rifles and a country-made pistol after acting on the information provided by them.
Briefing the press Palamu DIG Vipul Shukla said that Superintendent of Police Ajay Linda had received a secret tip-off regarding the presence of the JJMP ultras in Haidernagar area after which a road was conducted and a couple of ultras were nabbed from Vansidhar village who were identified as Ravindra Paswan alias DGM and Babulal Ram.
DIG said that the arrested later divulged the details regarding the arms and ammunition which had been kept hidden by the following which search was conducted and the four rifles were recovered from Karai Pahad.
