Congress organises states wide demonstration over erratic water and power supply

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee following the direction of its state unit head Dr Ajay Kumar held demonstrations at all the district headquarters over erratic water and power supply and later also handed over memorandums to the DCs.

JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that at all the district headquarters procession was taken out. In Ranchi under the banner of Mahanagar Congress and Ranchi Zilla Grameen Congress procession was taken out while on other districts including Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh and other districts of Santhal Pargana similar programmes were held.

He said that party chief Dr Ajay Kumar led the demonstrations in Jamshedpur. Mr Dubey said that the day’s programme was highly successful and said that in the next phase the party will gherao the state government and will take its agitation to the block level for which dates are being worked out.
