Huge quantity of IEDs and ammunitions recovered from Budha Pahar

Latehar: As part of Operation Octopus a major success has been achieved by the security forces involved in anti-insurgency action in Jharkhand as they have recovered a huge quantity of IEDs and ammunition from Budha Pahad.

Among the items which have been recovered by the security forces from Nawatoli, Jonkpani area of Budha Pahar by joint forces included ready to used 17 cylinders IEDs each weighing 10 kilograms, Cylinders 74, Tiffin IEDs 19 each weighing two kilograms, triangle IEDs 6, 9 check valve IEDs weighing 3 to 5 kilograms, cordex wire 300 meters, safety fuse 200 meters, electronic detonators 68, non-electronic detonators 98 and electronic wire approx 400 meters.

Moreover medicine in huge quantities, hand-operated drilling machine 1, red flags 2, multimeters 1, chemical 5 kilograms, electric switches 8, syringe 5, 9 Watt battery 3, Fire extinguisher IEDs One weighing between three to five kilograms and Pressure IEDs 12.
