Gas tanker overturns in Hazaribagh, three burnt to death, 7 vehicles destroyed

Hazaribagh: In a major accident that took place in Dhanuwa Ghati on the NH 2 in this district a gas tanker overturned and fell, leading to a major fire in which three men were charred to death.

Among the deceased one has been identified as tanker driver Babloo Yadav (35) while the identity of two others is yet to be ascertained. Such was the impact of the fire that a total of seven vehicles including a trailer, a dumpher and a truck were burnt completely in the fire. Apart from that plantation in an area of two kilometers, including wires and electricity poles were damaged in the incident.

As part of preventive measures on the Chordaha check-post vehicles were stopped from entering into the state while traffic going outside was stopped at Chouparan Market. Police remained camped at the spot to ensure no major untoward incident.
