Speaker chairs all party meet before start of Budget Session of Jharkhand Assembly

Ranchi: Speaker Ravindranath Mahto on Wednesday chaired an all party meeting before the start of Budget Session of Jharkhand Assembly which is slated from Friday onwards.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aalamgir Aalam, Cabinet Minister Satyanand Bhokta, Chief whip of BJP Biranchi Narayan, Lambodar Mahto from AJSU party, Pradeep Yadav from JVM-P, Binod Singh of CPI-ML and Saryu Rai Independent.

During the meeting the Speaker urged the members to maintain the time and word limit while raising issues during the zero hour. It was also decided to make proper use of Chief Minister's question hour during which only questions related to policy matters will be taken.

In the meeting it was also discussed that pending call attention motions will be taken up in the second half of working days of house. The Speaker asked the leaders of all the parties to make sure that question hour is not disturbed.
