Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that after taking over the reins of the state he had promised to the people to provide development and good governance and to win their faith he started the Jansamwad on May 1, 2015.
He said that through Jansamwad in the last five years communication was established with 17.73 lakh people. He said that a total of 4.15 lakh complaints 92 percent cases have been solved and congratulated all the departments and said that they needed to be more sensitive to establish coordination between the government and the people.
Mr Das said that it was his last Sidhi Baat program and in the new year the new government with new energy will try to solve the problems of the people and it will be beneficial for continuing the development process.
The Chief Minister said since the start of Sidhi Baat program numerous complaints regarding non-functioning of transformer and burnt transformers were received in plenty but the government with working style has done away with its problem as within 24 hours transformers are being replaced.
Mr Das said that through Jansamwad 100 percent success rate could have been achieved but due to some land-related family disputes the government could not intervene and some issues were in court, on the other hand, all other issues related to jobs on compensatory grounds have been jointly addressed and many kin has got jobs.
Those who were also present on the occasion included Additional Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal and others were present.
During the last 4.5 years the Chief Minister participated in Sidhi Baat program on 52 occasions.
