Ranchi: Beverages giant Coca Cola India assured that the company will set up a project in Jharkhand. Ishtiaque Amjad VP Coca Cola India by the means of the food summit the company would be taking further steps in this regard and hold talks with the government. He said that the company was one of the largest buyers of agriculture products not only in India but also in other nations of the world.
He said that the company has an array of products in fruits and vegetable segments and was doing strong in the dairy segment
and venturing into tea and coffee segments. Mr Amjad said that Coco Cola buys 95 percent of fruits from India and assured that in the course of the next two-three years 100 percent fruit procurement from India itself. Mr Amjad said the company has already assured an
investment of Rs 11000 crore in India by the year 2022.
