JMM’s Jharkhand Diwas Function concludes in Dumka

Dumka: The 41st Jharkhand Diwas function of the JMM highly significant for the party after it dethroned the BJP out of power from the state concluded well past into the midnight with the pledge of converting the challenges into opportunities.

Addressing the function JMM supremo Shibu Soren in his address to the people asked them to send their children to schools. He said that it was not important that everyone should go on to do an MA or BA but it is important to educate in order to get their rights. He said that educated people can adopt good techniques of farming and increase their income.

Guruji said that when the people are educated than they would become aware and will be exploited less as it is difficult to survive as an illiterate. He said that due to illiteracy the people of the area had to undergo lots of difficulties so they needed to make sure that their children do end up suffering like them.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the party had struggled for many years to get a separate state and now the people of Jharkhand have also blessed the party which managed to come into power with an absolute majority. He said that the people will run his government which will work only to fulfill the aspirations of the masses.

Hemant claimed that the previous government has destroyed the entire system and has given an empty exchequer to the new government however this has been taken as a challenge and is working to turn the same into an opportunity. He said that employment for youth, pension for the needy, water in the fields and access of proper health care facilities for all was a priority for his government.

He said that the biometric system of distribution of food grains will be stopped in the state and culture of loot will no longer be tolerated as there is no place for the corrupt in the state. He said that in the next year’s function people who would be coming to participate will be more happier with the state government.

The programme was also addressed by cabinet ministers Jaggarnath Mahto, Joba Manjhi and Haji Hussain Ansari while senior MLAs of the party including Stephan Marandi. Nalin Soren, Sita Soren, Lobin Hembrom and Rajmahal MP Vijay Hansda also spoke on the occasion
