Fire at BSL in Bokaro, senior officials face action

Bokaro (RP Service): Following a massive fire which broke out at the CRM department of the SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant the management took action against the senior officials. As part of the action, an executive director and a GM have been transferred while two deputy managers have been transferred.

Chief Communication Officer of Bokaro Steel Plant Manikant Dhan said that three-member committee formed over the issued handed over its report to the management containing the details of the losses expected. He said that at the time of the incident the plant was under operation and the work was on a war footing to repair the plant and in the next 4-5 days it will be repaired.
