Hemant visits strong room, JMM jubilant after exit poll results

Ranchi/Dumka: After the end of the polling process all eyes are on the counting day which falls on December 23 for which the administration has completed all the preparations.

Apart from maintaining the security at the strong rooms, even the candidates are making their presence count. The counting of the votes will commence from 8 am and the first trend would be available at around 11 am and results are expected to be clear around 2 pm in the afternoon. As part of the drill, the representatives of the political parties have pitched their tents outside the strong rooms to keep an eye on the happenings.

On Saturday Leader of the Opposition and JMM’s candidate from Dumka seat visited the strong room in Dumka and collected information from his party workers. On the other hand, after the exit polls predicted for a JMM led coalition coming into power the party leaders are excited with the central general secretary of the party Supriyo Bhattacharya even claiming that their alliance will bag more than 50 seats in the state.

On the other hand, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar has said that people should not get carried away by the exit polls as even during the Lok Sabha polls the exit polls had predicted the figures which had gone completely wrong in the state.
