Gumla: A group of three elephants destroyed a home in Sikri panchayat under Jari Police Station area of this district also ate away the rice and pulses which were kept in the home.
In the wee hours of the day, the group of elephants attacked on the house of Bipin Lakra after which the family members rose up and raised an alarm due to which the neighbours got up.
Soon all the villagers scared away the elephants towards the forest. The victim said that his home had been completely destroyed by the elephants who also ate away 4 quintals of paddy kept in the home.
