Garhwa: Body of a man and that of a woman was found from a well located at Piparkala village under Vishunpura village of this district.
The deceased have been identified as Tetar Singh Khaiwar (45) and Guja Devi (35) wife of Virendra Bhuiyaan. Monday evening the body of Tetar Singh was spotted by the villagers which could not be taken out due to darkness. Tuesday morning the body of the woman was also seen floating in the well after which both the bodies were taken out.
A police team which later reached on the spot sent the bodies for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
On the other hand wife of Tetar Singh, Sangeeta Devi said that mother in- law of Gunja had called her husband to their house to settle a dispute on Sunday night after which he failed to return. She said that when she went to inquire about her husband the mother in- law of Gunja and her husband Birendra Bhuiyaan said that Tetar Singh had gone.
