Speeding bus kills 4 year old child, woman serious at Itki Mode

Ranchi: A woman and four year old child were hit by a speeding bus at Itki Mode under Itki Police Station area of this district in which the minor died while the condition of the woman was stated to be critical. Locals said that the woman with the child was walking at the roadside when they were hit by the bus due to which the child died on the spot.

Post the incident the bus driver fled from the spot leaving the vehicle behind which was later seized by the police. Post the incident the locals gathered at the spot and stopped the traffic movement on road but later called off their agitation after intervention by the police.
