Latehar: A four year old girl lost her life as a Mnrega signboard fell upon her at upgraded primary school Amba Toli located under Balumath Police Station area of this district.
The family members of the girl said that the deceased Nandani Kumari had gone to the school when the signboard which was made of bricks fell upon her. She was rushed in a serious condition to Balumath primary health care center where she was declared dead by the doctors.
On the other hand, principal of the school said that since the age of the child was less, therefore, her admission was not done in the school however she was coming to the classes for the last few months.
He said that as the children were ready to go home the girl was passing through the signboard which accidentally fell upon her.
